Egg Omelet / Mutta Porichethu

Egg omelet is one of the easiest dish that can be made for breakfast/lunch/dinner as a side dish.



Ingredients

1. Egg - 2 Nos
2. Green Chilli -Chopped - 2 Nos
3. Onion - Chopped - 2 tablespoon(1/4 of medium onion)
4. Turmeric Powder - a pinch
5. Chilli Powder - 1/4 teaspoon
6. Salt - to taste
7. Oil - 1 teaspoon



Method of Preparation
Step 1. Beat the egg with fork or egg beater.

Step 2. Mix Green chilli, Onion, Turmeric Powder, Chilli Powder and salt into the beaten egg mixture.
Step 3. Heat oil in a pan
Step 4. Add the egg mixture slowly into the pan and tilt the pan so that egg mixture is spread evenly to all sides of the pan.
Step 5. Cover the pan.Keep the flame between low and medium .
Step 6. When the lower side becomes light brown flip the omelet on to its other side and close the lid.Cook for couple of minutes.
Step 7. Serve hot with rice ,chapati or bread.













This is a simple dish that everyone can make, especially for bachelors and people having a busy schedule.
